This is scientific fact. How can one judge if a second-grader will be ready for a “good” college at that age? That is the age of exploration and self-teaching, more so than teacher toward certain types of test grades I agree teachers need to be accountable. However; accountability for the child’s complete education will not be available until long after he/she is finished regular schooling. I wasn’t wearing slippers, so I DID kick something!
